Wegerzyn gardens metropark. Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark began in 1973 as the Benjamin Wegerzyn Horticultural Center and in 1995 became part of Five Rivers MetroParks. Divided into three main areas the garden offers opportunities to play among interesting and whimsical plant displays learn about Ohio habitats and grow vegetables and other backyard plants. In addition to the developed horticultural facilities this park contains mature woodlands the rich aquatic life of the Stillwater River a meadow and two planted prairies.
